Today I gotten a much needed mani/pedi….sigh! Which was very relaxing and rejuvenating. I always get a shellac mani because is last longer than a traditional mani. Color of choice this time around is Miami Beet….so pretty!

If you were going mountain climbing, you wouldn’t wear ballet shoes. Likewise, if you were giving a ballet recital, you wouldn’t wear your hiking boots. Some footwear is tailored to specific uses. However, some people overlook this fact when they are exercising.

Field trip to the MAC Store

I went to the MAC store this weekend, I need to restock a few items and try new products. I love MAC products with a passion!!! Usually when I restock my inventory I schedule a appointment for someone to do my make up  Not this time, I’m super busy at work. Please keep this in mind, if you are planning on spending $50.00 or more @MAC they will do your makeup. I really take advantage of this service, I love love love getting my make up done by professionals. Also I always learn a makeup trick or two.

Celebrities are known for getting plastic surgery “enhancements” from time to time. Most celebrity plastic surgeries are successful and achieve the desired effect for the star. However, some plastic surgeries go awry and the celebrity ends up known for their botched cosmetic surgery. Some of the Best and Worst celebrity plastic surgeries include:

Worst Celebrity Plastic Surgeries

Tara Reid

One of the most notable and publicized bad plastic surgery jobs was the Tara Reid breast augmentation. Due to a “wardrobe malfunction” at Cipriani’s Restaurant, during P-Diddy’s 35th birthday celebration on November 4, 2004, Tara Reid was no longer able to deny the breast enlargement surgery. Scar tissue and malformations around her nipple were exposed for all to see when it took her several minutes to notice that the shoulder of her dress had fallen, completely exposing her left breast.

Tara also appears to have had liposuction around her mid-section which left her stomach looking like that of a 55 year old woman.

Since that time, Tara has also been spotted with botoxed lips that appear to be lagging on one side of her mouth.

Heidi Montag

Heidi Montag received no less than 10 plastic surgeries that completely changed her appearance. However, the surgeries were not without issues. Heidi went from looking like “the girl next door” to appearing like one of the many blonde bimbos that one might see on a Malibu beach.

However, Heidi reports that the surgeries left her with several unsightly scars, including two circular scars on the lower back from poorly executed liposuction, jagged scars behind her ears from pinning her ears back and a two inch scar from a botched chin reduction. Heidi also received HUGE breast implants, much too large for her small frame.

Heidi now blames the plastic surgeries for ruining her career.

Cleaning Your Makeup Brushes…

Cleaning  your makeup brushes is just as important as cleaning your face. Most of us wash our face twice a day, I think it’s wise to clean your makeup brushes daily as well. Cleaning your makeup brushes can be time consuming, but here are some helpful tips on how to clean in a timely manner. Everyday after applying my makeup application to my face, I will clean each brush with a makeup remover wipe. If you do not have makeup remover wipes, a baby wipe will work as well. This is a quick and easy way to clean your brushes during the week. Once a week I clean my makeup brunches with baby soap and water. I use baby soap because it is mild and gentle to the skin.
